Ismael Matino is a PhD student in “Emerging Digital Technologies” and an Assistant Researcher at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. He received a Master Degree in Chemical Engineering by Pisa University in 2012. Since January 2014 he worked at PERCRO and currently he works at ICT-COISP. His research activity concerns with modelling and simulation of industrial production and treatment areas focusing on prognostic monitoring and control, process integration and optimization in order to improve product quality, save material and energy resources and minimize environmental impact. Ismael is involved the most in European Projects funded by Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS).
